Eureka!

Finally found out how to put the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together. And they fit!

Package Maker is mine!!! ~Apple Pie, the white pomeranian/Japanese spitz (we're not sure what breed she really is)

Does that mean you've figured out the previous chameleon issues from your last post lemaurien19?

Also, reading up on what RC5 offers, it states native p and c state generation and usage. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that our machines already do this, but will RC5 improve upon this (i.e. in terms of battery life) in any way?

Thanks for all your efforts!

It's just the PackageMaker and automated EFI setup that I'm talking about.

As for RC5, if I'm not mistaken, you're referring to a specific thread somewhere in InsanelyMac, well, here's the current deal with our Mini 311's : the P-states are hard coded in the DSDT. If automatic P-states generation/detection is the only substantial novelty in RC5, I think we're better off as we are right now because things are stable.

Personally, I'd be more excited if the new RC5 will deal more about power management - real battery life for our pseudo macbooks :)
